Plockton Harbour & Dunstaffnage Marina, Oban 

In the main summer months MSV Red Moon is usually berthed in Plockton Harbour. Plockton can be reached by road on the A87 or by train to the station just outside the village. During early Spring, late Autumn & Winter Red Moon is based at Dunstaffnage Marina near Oban, Argyll which has good links from Glasgow.

By Train 

Plockton - Approx two and a quarter hours by train from Inverness to Plockton with links from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airports. See links below. We can meet guests arriving by train or bus and take your luggage to Red Moon.

Dunstaffnage Marina - Approx 3 hours by train from Glasgow to Oban. Taxis and local buses are available near the station to bring you to Dunstaffnage Marina.

By Car

Plockton - Approx two hours from Inverness via the A82 and A87 or the A9 and A835, or four hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airports.There is free parking in the quiet road ( Cooper St) leading to the Main Pier at Plockton. If no spaces are immediately available we will try and arrange one for you. Post code for GPS: IV52 8TJ

Dunstaffnage Marina - Just over two hours from Glasgow Airport via  the M8, A82 and A85 or approx three from Edinburgh Airport via the M9, A84 and A85. There is free parking at the Marina for one car. Post Code for GPS: PA37 1PX.

By Bus / Coach

Plockton - Approx two hours by bus from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh from where you would need to get a taxi to Plockton. See Citylink link below.
