Kyle of Lochalsh Pontoons & Dunstaffnage Marina, Oban 

From May MSV Red Moon is usually berthed at the Pontoons in Kyle Harbour, situated in front of the Kyle of Lochalsh Hotel. Kyle of Lochalsh can be reached by road on the A87 or by train to the pierhead which is right beside the pontoons or by bus from Inverness or Glasgow to the harbour slipway. During early Spring, late Autumn & Winter Red Moon is based at Dunstaffnage Marina near Oban, Argyll which has good links from Glasgow.

By Train 

Kyle of Lochalsh - Approx two and half hours by train from Inverness to the Kyle of Lochalsh, with links from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airports. See links below. We will meet guests arriving by train or bus and take your luggage to Red Moon.

Dunstaffnage Marina - Approx 3 hours by train from Glasgow to Oban. Taxis and local buses are available near the station to bring you to Dunstaffnage Marina.

By Car

Kyle of Lochalsh - Approx two hours from Inverness via the A82 and A87 or the A9 and A835, or four hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow Airports.There is free parking in the harbour/railway car park. We can meet you at the car park and take your luggage to Red Moon. If no spaces are immediately available we will try and arrange one for you. Post code for GPS: IV40 8AF.

Dunstaffnage Marina - Just over two hours from Glasgow Airport via  the M8, A82 and A85 or approx three from Edinburgh Airport via the M9, A84 and A85. There is free parking at the Marina for one car. Post Code for GPS: PA37 1PX.
